Governor Andrei Vorobyev confirmed the deaths of a 44-year-old woman in Sofyino, where a drone struck a three-story residential building, and an elderly man in the Orekhovo-Zuevo district after a private residence was hit. Five other individuals, including two children, sustained injuries. Moscow Mayor Sergei Sobyanin acknowledged that a drone impacted a structure close to a central boulevard and caused damage to a site at an oil processing plant. Mayor Sobyanin had previously indicated that 152 drones heading towards Moscow were neutralized.
Both Russia and Ukraine have escalated their assaults recently, focusing on infrastructure related to energy generation, transportation, and significant logistical centers. Ukrainian authorities stated that Russian assaults on Saturday in the Kyiv and Sumy regions claimed seven lives.
